    knocking while turning steering wheel

    Hi Guys!

Have this little issue with my dc5r, so here it is:

When ever i turn my steering wheel at slow speeds (e.g. doing a three point turn or reversing out of a drive way), i hear a knocking sound. This only happens as in the example i just gave, does't happen when I'm driving normally. This started to happen when i changed from having shocking lowered springs to stock dc5 springs.

Hope you guys can help me out

    Thanks,
    Fahad

Who installed the stock springs back into the stock struts? You can't just put them in and re-install. You have to line up the springs to a mark on the struts so it sits in the seats properly

Got them installed from a mechanic. I did watch him put the stock springs, and remember he did line them up with the struts, maybe CV joints?

i recon its cv joint problem and not the springs!! Slid into the gutter once in my parents car and fucked the cv joints and got it fixed but still makes the knocking noise!
