Yep,70mm is what a dc5r needs,we found that 60mm was too restrictive

varex exhaust are illegal now because you can change how loud or quiet the exhaust is. It is now a defect if you are found with it. Something about volume changing makes it illegal

Cops actually check if you have one or not. Just warning you guys if you have the varex. It is some where on the web but i cbf looking for it.

I'd stick to your current system, it would already sound good. Anyone on this forum should be attracting Police attention... I know I get pulled over at least once every week, and that's just a 10 - 15 minute drive to and from work everyday...

But as far as I know, Varex is illegal, have a mate who got defected with a Varex on his IS250...

Maybe go have a chat to Dale at Castle Hill Exhaust?

Castle Hill Exhausts did my first exhaust for like, $400, was a basic exhaust job, they provided the exhaust on my stock cat and headers, sounded all right, decent tone, wasn't loud enough for me though.

I'd recommend Hakan at Northmead Performance Exhausts over Castle Hill though. He put my Skunk2 system in for me.
