I tried doing this a while ago but my wiper arm didn't want to come off either. Will give it another shot this weekend - equipped with hacksaw.
A hacksaw makes it so much easier and takes about 5 mins. Only do this if your planning not to put it back on. It looks great and clean. I do recommend you to clean your whole car after because the metal filings will rust on top of your paint.
This is something i couldnt do,i go crazy when my back windscreen is dirty or wet..i need that wiper more then anything! dunno how people can delete it =/

Nice DIY! Does anyone know whether the JDM DC5Rs without rear wiper (no C package) have a plug for the hole or a different rear screen? If so is there an OEM plug for this hole?

i bought a metal one from an ebay seller, it was a genuine honda item and it listed the rsx as a model it fitted but i had to cut the rubber and dodge something up to make it fit from memory, so i assume it was for another honda, early civics maybe,
