I read some were that the DC2R has a oil cooler from stock.. Is this true.. If so were is it located.. Does it work efficiently or do poeple upgrand them.. Thanks guys!!

Yes, it is a water to oil heat exchanger, it is on the back of the block between the block and the oil filter and has a couple of coolant hoses coming out of it. It acts to both pre-heat the oil when the engine is warming up and to cool the oil when the oil temperature exceeds the coolant temperature.
I like it because it is a simple robust design, and for light track use and performance street use it will be adequate. HERE is a post by Evatec () regarding the cooler and the effect he saw by upgrading just the radiator to maintain coolant temperatures at a lower level. The cooling system on my Integra is stock but if I upgraded something it would be the radiator to maintain a better coolant temperature and let the oil look after itself.

Stock oil/water exchanger is sufficient. Dont bother with oil cooler, cold oil temps will do more harm to the engine.BYP Racing & Developments

Ok so i had a look today and am suprsied i never noticed it during oil changes.. but one thing i also did just notcie.. Imbetween the oil coller and the filter is a other small plate.. It has no ports.. Any idea'ssigpic
