I've had no problems at all with 1 fan. All normal.

+1 for davies craig! i have them in my DC2 2 x 12" slimline fans, definately quiter than stock fans and cools down quickly. my water temp is at 98 when the fans kick on and within 10-15 secs in really drops down to 90. (this is sitting at the lights)

Some are running Showa and some are running Denso. Showa and Denso radiators are running different fans

doesn't matter if you are running davies craig slimline fans, they are universal fit anyway. on my koyo 53mm radiator, stock fans can't fit on.

You can either custom build your own bracket or you can use the method they advise (bolts through the radiator between the fins) personally i was worried about the bolts moving each time the fans kicked on and everntually cracking the fins and extreme cases causing a leak. Probably won't ever happen but just being anal and over protective of my new shiny radiator.
