if i was in ur situation the biggest difference to me would be the letter "S" vs "R" =p

but then again if u dont care about cosmetics, for the same price go the S

i have both... i have a NHB S and a Silver R. Usually i would choose the S, but summer is comming, and Hot leather on my butt just isn't my thing. Dunno whether the R have aged or what... but much more comfortable going thru those speedbumps at uni in the S than R.

I'd go for the S. It will age better then the R, that is a given, but then again that depends on how long you are going to keep this car for.

I'd go DC5-S over R anyday of the week. Just a nicer car. Apparently more power aswell... but more weight. Should be quite even to the R... with a more refined drive. Great for a stylin daily I reakon!

Given the choice, I'd join the paddy wagon and say the S - much more refined and nearly the same grunt as the R; if not more...

Plus the leather seems to be easier to keep clean then the recaros; or am i talking bs

I'd say go with the S Justin...I wouldn't even bother thinkin about performance...I doubt you will notice that much difference...

If you really wanted I guess you could swap out the seats in the future...but if I'm not mistaken...DC5S have airbags in the seats don't they?

S definitely costs more and as people have noted, you could just get the DC5R recaros for the S if you really want...they don't cost that much...

Where can you get DC5R Recaro's? I want them for my '05 Type S!!!
