spec C suitability depends on your existing pistons and compression ratio...

supertech springs/retainers are good, but TODA are much better.

What are the specs on your block? Is you car a daily or a weekend warrior? spec Cs are more suitable for a weekend/track car.

yee well ill be driving it to and from work at nite about 4 to 5 times a week but its only a 7minute drive lol... yee i loooked into gettin the Toda Dual Springs..? sposed to be most effective with minimal wear.. theres a set forsale on ozhonda so im tempted if i get a green light.. plus one of the BYP boys offered me his Cs fairly cheap... do u recomemnd ti retainers too? or can i use stardard retaineers without compromise?
and RichyR not 100% on exacty specs awaiting parts, labour and recipts list from mechanic to varify all that.. its basically b20 bottom end now but without the leaks lol coz its from my stock b18c7 block

Ti retainers simply reduce weight, which allows slightly higher RPM operations...

I recommend Ti retainers too if you do it as it's apart already and if you going to rev it hard. Do it once n do it properly.

                  strokign a B18C from 1797cc to 1834cc? not a huge leap unless he ment a B20A bottom-end...

he'd want be boring it out too, in which case, he'd need to have it sleeved if that is the case...

(not a common thing, and you would surely remember paying for it if you got it done!)
