Agreed value, low premium, unlimited mods, easy-to-deal-with customer service, etc.

Some companies I got an online quote with said they wouldn't insure me due to modifications on my car. I think they were AAMI and Allianz.

I'm with AAMI, full comp, maximum excess (2.5k) sussy/air intake listed as my only mods agreed value is 22k (or around there) and my annual is $1150.

Im looking at changing insurers, updating my policy with all my mods and going from there. I dont have the best driving history though - 3/4 driving suspensions. Just to confirm, the insurers frown upon this yeah

PS - thats the reason why I chose with AAMI second year as they jsut sent me out the renewal, i simply call them up for a better premium and pay for it on the spot. No need to update details such as driving suspensiosn lol

having a p player on the nominated list will bump it up $500 or so to start with since you are under 25, just get your own policy.. at least you will have begun your own insurance rating..

I'm with CommInsure atm, car is under my dads name, so im paying about $70 a month. Covered for 18k. Im not listed in this policy, but if i do have an accident and im the one driving, I just need to pay an extra $1200 excess (unlisted driver excess)

                      I've got a question.
Say I am a Red P plater in VIC (No performance modifications allowed), if i document to my insurance company that i have say; a CAI and a new exhaust. Can i get in trouble through the insurance company for having these mods?

Yeah their market value for a 03 dc5r is $13,000

Might go with RACV for 2.3k all mods covered agreed value of $22,000 and excess of 1.7k doesn't sound to bad.

Spoke to nrma on the phone today.

Had my premium reduced from $1600 to $1460 just through some negotiating over the phone. You'll have to get past the first cust service rep though as they don't have the authority to make plan changes.

Not trouble no, but if they aren't listed to be insured and they find them on your car if an accident should occur bye bye insurance claim..
