If your going to be driving it daily i wouldnt reccomend such a loud exhaust, I used to really be into loud exhausts but now im into "Clean" Exhausts (meaning a sharper crisper sound) their are heaps of great quality exhaust systems which offer a great sound & performance.

BC Spec3 sounds awesome and i'd imagine it makes a little bit more power vs a mugen twin loop (which is really quite small in diameter, I THINK, from when i saw it on a shelf)
But it really is too loud for my personal tastes. Its a nice sound, but i;d imagine it would be quite annoying in traffic. Kinda like driving a harley davidson
As for it being mildly loud...whats louder? Apex N1? BC Pro Spec?

Gunpoon - i sure will. Is ur car modded? I'm wondering whether its a by product of hard sussy or something that comes loose eventually on all DC5S[/QUOTE]
my cars an 04 dc5r and i'm running buddyclub n+ coilovers but the noise was there before they went in, but is worse since, sounds very similar to yours, a 'tick tick' when going over small bumps and shit. i spent ages feeling around for loose shit but i'm a lazy prick,to lazy to pull the dash out, so i gave up and now just put up with it02 Indy Yellow s2000::::::04 Arctic Blue Pearl DC5R::::::05 White B2600::::::10 Ibis White Q5

Yes the BC Spec 3 is mildly loud compared to some of the exhaust that some of my fellow CITRs and myself are running on ours HAHAHA. Most of the Ti exhaust would be louder than the BC3 or even the bc4 is louder.CARSFORHOPE

I'm definitely going to try that rubber lining thing on saturday before I pull off the dash - Thanks! I'll let you guys know how i go with it...
wayne - lets go for a drive sometime and catch up...grab mugsee to come if he still can. The DC5S is an awesome car. Sures it slower than my previous s15/WRX but personally i think the car is a better package overall than them.
Thanks for all the welcomes!
