how can i get my vtec to be as distinct as that? i have an integra type s
is it because its a crx and they are alot lighter?

A. Its a B series engine, thats why it has a distinct sound, infact its a B20 thats probably had a shite loads thrown at it.

im not only talking about the sound of the car...but how fast it goes from 5500rpm to redline....it goes nuts when vtec kicks in....my type s is stock, i definetely notice vtec, but nothing compared to the youtube links

Abz, get a CAI and you will notice the crossover more.

1. CAI
2. RBC + aftermarket TB
3. good set of known headers.
4. straight (no hotdogs) custom 3inch stainless steel with metal cat
5. kpro
6. then go make a youtube vid and go crazy

k series engine really likes 3" exhausts.

In the videos you're posting it looks like they're just driving normally until they decide to mash the throttle, I wouldn't be 100% sure about the agressive movement of the tacho being attributed to JUST vtec kicking in.

i went to an exhaust shop and they thought 2.5" was extreme and advised me to get 2" or 2.25"
