ep3 opinions?

hey guys,

im looking at purchasing an ep3, wanted to ask for afew opinions of ep3 owners or people that might know abit about ep3's.

are there common issues about ep3's i should look into upon inspections? mechanical, body?

as for aftermarket parts, are the dc5r parts basically the same or similar (exhuast/suspension/intakes)?

are the cars any good? pros/cons? would you recommend people to purchase the ep3 over the dc5r?

is the depreciation rate of the ep3 higher than the dc5r?

and lastly what did you guys pay for your ep3's so i can have some sorta indication to what price i should be paying.

Im also looking for an ep3.

Remember about the Macpherson setup, that inverted tie rod ends are a must when lowering the car. They also have electric steering..

To give you an idea, ive seen a black EP3 with 22,000km - and asking 26.5k.

Around the 25 mark from a private seller seems about right.

i think they would make a remarkable daily, great comfy seats. more torque then a dc2.

any one know the size of the tank and what its fuel consumption would be?

for me, fuel consumption is around 10-11L per 100km with only stop start traffic (no hwy runs).

tank size is 50L according to this

hey perry, i kinda like the look of the prefacelift, the bumper looks more blended and even throughout. plus i cant really justify spending an extra $5k or so more for the front bumper, and rear lights that i dont like. so im leaning towards the prefacelift. my brothers been alright lately, what have you been doing since your no longer working there?

i will most probably be looking at the 02 model towards the end of the week. im usually quite hesitant to purchase imports, but i suppose you have to if you want an ep3. plus ive heard alot of good things from IMG through the evo forums.

what kind of price for insurance should i be expecting. ive tried afew online quotes and the vehicle doesnt exist due to being an import.

wondering what you guys are paying for insurance?
