LOL that's what i was going to say but i thought it would offend alot of people...
But they also discontinued the DC5...so i can't really say much about that.

Dc5 was around for sale for 4-5 years
FN2R was liek 1-2 max?
"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horse power is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you."
i'd get a brand new CTR - Honda has discontinued them, so will be pretty cheap...
If that's true, I'd be cool with that
would make the FN2 rare in australia
wasn't a Honda man before, so I'm not so hung up on what the "Type-R" badge is suppose to be. FFS, its a badge! (Granted theres 14 of them on the FN2 and I paid $250 for that damn emblem kit)
Wanted a new car that was practical but still capable and fun around the track, FN2 fits the bill for me, I like the spaceship look, firing up the car feels like I'm on the bridge of starship Enterprise.
At the end of the day its all about what you want from the car, if anything this thread has demonstrated that everyone has different things they want from their car, otherwise there would be less arguments and less bickering.
ITR ain't everything. Neither is CTR. They're both good cars, but relatively, they're both turtles compared to an EVO or STI.
As a CTR driver, I admit it's probably not the best of cars around.
But must you people be so defensive about ITR and negative of CTR? It only shows how childish you are. Especially you JDM DC5R with your multiple posts.
haha, turtles would you like to prove how?
people like you are ignorant, and think that turbos are 'fully sick cuz',
Listen kid, quit having a cry and look at why Jingers and I have bought the DC5R.
We both could have bought better cars, but rather we bought a DC5R because they are brilliant cars, perfect for converting into a race car.
Ok, now grow up
What are you racing it in?
It sounds like you're trying to be like Jingers but falling short in some ways. Jing actually has done his homework. Not just opening Hyper rev and picking parts.
So you still haven't answered the question of... if you're going to smash the FN2's time @ Wakefield since you claim to own the super duper track engineered DC5R.
I'm not crying, I'm just saying put your money where your mouth is.

If you're saying a EVO is not faster than a Type-R then I think you're ignorant? Because they ARE faster... they are also in another class which is comparing apples with oranges.

this thread has gone completely sideways. fair enough that people are sticking up for what they own and justifying (or attempting to) why they bought what they have... but it just shows how narrow minded some people really are.

so your saying the type r are turtles?
ha-ha a turtle compared to the evo or sti would be a barrina.
