haha thats funny...
just tried calling torque and they told me my car is not old enough to be called a classic and they won't insure me for that purpose...
i said that i was referred by a car forum where ppl have been insured for their type-r and they said they will only do it if it was highly modified for show or with big engine mods etc... not just bolt-ons...

so what u guys think of the young&cool quote i got?

yeah shannons also do market value and they quoted me $1662... i think its about $300 more if i do agreed value of 27k...

shannons with market value $1662
young&cool with market value $1032

what looks more appealing? that's why i need some advice... comments on young&cool... my bro used to be with y&c and he said they're alright...

i just got a quote from young and cool... they seem alrite with choice of repairer.

however the max amount u can insure for an under 25 yr old is $30000 and excess for theft of car is $3000 unless u have a 3 point immobiliser??

anywyaz quote for 2005 dc5S with mods (i/h/e) for 22yr old was around $2100, basic excess $400

hmmmm, my Shannons with agreed value (25k) is only $105 per month ($1260pa)...

shannons give you a free windscreen replacement every year too, and the people who work there actually know about cars, and care about helping... in my experience anyways...
