    thinking of purchasing a 2004 vw R32 thats why i have my dc5r for sale..
    any opinions anyone driven one.

      they are quite quick stock,

      and the 4wd is great, so i have been told...

          Sounds like a v8, great torque as well...

          very comfy...the heated seats were fantastic on the way to the snowy's haha

            torquey and sound great. not sure on how quick they are etc only ever been passenger in one.

                    the car is a bit heavy as well.

                    it's a little car...but i think the car weights like 1500kg, whereas the DC5R is 1160

                    so the power to weight kinda evens out or less even though the r32 gives out 177

                    Note....its not a full time 4wd.....when u stuff up then it becomes a 4wd...
                    off memory....

                    like what tink's said...research.....

                          i've seen vid of one in the states that's turbocharged, and that thing toys 911 turbos like they're nothing... i don't know how much it cost though coz the guy didn't say

                            i'd go a R32 over DC5r any day of the week. As for the 4WD... its a 90:10 split towards the front (or something silly like that) The rear wheels only really kick in when it can tell the car is slipping. There is an aftermarket computer called a Haldex (i think) which transfers it to 40:60 (or maybe even more towards the rear)

                            They look awesome, sound awesome, go awesome... are just plain awesome. Get it!
