DC5R without a doubt. As mentioned, DC2R is dated and hard to find a good conditioned one. Might be true that the ADM DC5R is slightly inferior to ADM DC2R, but the reality is, most of us ain't a pro racer to appreciate the differences. For all ralliart colt owners & lovers, i'm please to announce that the ralliart colt forum is finally online and working. DC2R imho is a better car to drive than the DC5R.
Depends what you are using it mainly for.
But im sure there a few nice dc2rs out there for sale.

Horse power is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you."

all up to you mate... Both are great cars and will not disappoint. I have owned the DC5R and DC5S and love them both to bits. My mates DC2R was why i fell in love with Honda though!
Very different cars though with each having its advantages. All your mates that laugh at you about thinking about the DC5R is because they own DC2R's as you mentioned and dont want to sh!t on their own cars. DC2R is a bit dated although still definitely looks the goods in stock form. DC5R, you need to lower that biatch immediately unless you want to be eye level with a Holden Cruze.
I am sure you will spark up another debate on this forum which will assist you in making your decision.

Heads or tails, then go buy it. LOL.
For me it was personal preference. Always loved the DC2R especially the yellow.
I wouldn't have mind getting the DC5R but was well exceeding my budget.
Go with what you prefer and like. If money wasnt an issue I'd go with the DC5R, like many has said DC2R are abit dated.
