7th Gen Celica

i ran one of the new celica's before, took it by 2-3 cars length, and my car is stock (except for semislicks)

I ran vyets celica 5months ago, we had 4 runs and all of them he beat me by at least 1-2 car lengths. Then we swap cars and I beat him by a car length

My car: stock 06 Type S

Vyets car: celica with aem CAI, TRD axle back, D2 coilovers and I can't remember if he had back seats or not.

(though TRD Celica Sports M's equivalent would be Mugen DC2R/DC5R, so again the Celica would be beat imo!)

with those mods and it made 108kw on the 2zz?
and the TypeS lost?

After swapping cars with him i lost in his car to my car, but we only ran once, if given afew more shots i think i coulda won, type S is great!
was ,mugen dc2 released as a production car, caus the sports M celica was. only 1200 made and japan and uk got them

I think you should compare the EUR Type M to the JDM type Rs. but best motoring never did that! did they??

Best motoring is only a show... but anyway there was a race.
dc2r, ek9, celica ss2, is200.
i think the ek9 came out on top then it was the dc2r anyway after that was the celica ss2, which is the jdm celica same power better suspension :P

Wow that's a big call! Considering base is only 110kw at fly.

the base did have some mods on it... and it was around 100kw atw
but i still lost about a car's length

With equal drivers...

Stock- Celica v ITR = Celica

Bolt-On Mods - Celica v ITR = Celica TOTALLY

The Gearbox, extra 0.2lt and LSD, plus the fact that ITR's respond better to mods means the DC5R is much better.

BTW here's my Celica's Dyno graph, with Intake, Exhaust, lightweight Flywheel.

The Celica is more comfy/luxurious inside than a DC2R though.
