Apparently there really good better than the OEM on the dc2r wouldn't know about the K series though, are your ones Pro series carbon?

I've got the Synchrotech carbon synchros in my DC5R box in my CR-X, and have so far been very pleased with them (about 5000km and 4 track events). Shifting is crisp and precise, definitely better than the worn OEM box in my DC5R. I have heard vague whisperings of issues with the carbon items. Maybe their quality control isn't quite as good as OEM, as if the clearances aren't quite right the synchro will drag and cause shifting issues.
Where did you get OEM synchros? I understood that they could only be purchased with the synchro hub/sleeve or gear set, making them quite pricey.

I was told they were quite "notchy" and more of a real push to put into gear... I still daily drove my ep3r at the time so when I was told that it straight away turned me off them and decided to buy the oem synchros which, yes did come with the sleeve for the specific gears... I still have 1-6 Carbon synchros sitting in my room ^_^
Where did you get your syncros and where did you get them installed?
I ordered them online from synchrotech America they where suggested by the guy that did my gearbox recon and his been using them never had customer complaints here's the link : http://www.synchrotech-transmissions.com/#2716
My mechanic uses this trusted guy that does gearboxes. His been sending him work for the past 10 years and never had a problem or a send back with gearboxes. I think his located in padstow I can get you his number if you want? I ordered the Pro series Carbon synchros 1-5 I think it was $400 but yea check out the website. The code for the dc2r pro series Carbon synchros are : syn101
