i agree. maybe this is one to get excited about?

Anyways the Jap spec CTR won't be out til end of March....just confirmed it on Option Magazine...Honda still needs to finalise some setups on the car before release. A BS RE070 tyre compound is in development for use specially for the new CTR, compared to the normal RE070 on the market. Minor changes to the suspension setup is also finalised to help match the development of the new RE070 tyres.

Another thing important to mention is, the new CTR will no longer use MOMO as their steering wheel manufacturer. The new steering wheel would be developed by Honda itself using Genuine leather. Same goes with the Recaros, it will no longer be featured in the new CTR. It'll be replaced by same looking bucket seats developed by Honda themselves with the Type-R stitching. (Just confirmed all that thru pics at Honda.co.jp)

Man....2 of the biggest features of a Type R is no longer there anymore I think they should reduce the price even if it ever got a chance to reach Aussie shores

Am i the only one that prefers the 'egg' shaped over the jdm 'sedan' shape. The jdm shape is just too dated and uninspiring imo. They should of used the egg shape and coupled it with japanese engineering . If they wanted a sedan shape they should of used the sir concept i think it was called?

As for stigs review, i think he rated the ctr to be first not cause of what is on paper but because it was the most fun to drive out of the hot hatches.

Haven't read through the articles, but from the brief result summary, the new CTR failed to impress. It scores less than the average score among all the hot hatches like, Golf GTI, FORD ST, Megane, SEAT...

Can someone who actually buy the magazine fill us up with abit more info?
LOL... why couldn't you buy the magazine for yourself?

if you take a look at the evo website, the 'hot hatch guide' is actually sponsored by/presented in association with redh.co.uk which is the ctr site for the UK.
