Would Honda EP3R seats fit in a DC5R???

so hey guys, just wanted to ask would the ep3r seat fit into a dc5r? im a newbie at this stuff and just a question of curiousity. and also would like to ask is it just a straight swap? or would i need the rails aswell for the seating. just thinking of swaping the drivers seat so i could perserve the recaro drivers side seat.

From memory EP3 recaro's will fit into dc5r with dc5r rails, but will let others to confirm as well.

I know the dc5r recaros wont fit ep3 seat rails as my mate was looking to swap but it was too much work to make them fit. I could be wrong. Test fitting would be your best bet

thanks for the tips so far guys. but yeah youre right hau test fitting would be a good bet.. but it would be quite the hassle.. just wondering if any guys out there have done it before. because ima big guy and getting out of them recaros is sucha pain in the arse... specially when its my daily aswell

Take out the passenger side remove the rail of the seat and take the rail to the seller and try to see if the holes line up

From memory most sr series seats are interchangable going by using after market rails such as bride or recaro the mounting holes are the same. I might be in the process to do the same thing will let you know if I do it before you. But try it anyways.

My dc5 sr4s had different mount holes on the base to ep3 rails so it was impossible to fit them, I assume its the same putting ep3 seats in a dc5

when u say mount as in with the rails it didnt fit either? =/

Ep3 and dc5 seat rails are not the same so no point buying the sr4 rails. Youll need an after market seat rail that has mount points in the bottom and hope they line up

If you're in Melb we can test it out, I got an EP3 and I'm a pretty small guy so the recaros don't really hold.
