DC5R vs EP3??

        I have owned an EP3 and driven a DC5 many times. One of the downsides of the EP3, in my opinion is the electronic power steering which to me isn't anywhere near as good as the DC5 hydraulic power steering. The EP3 feels just too light and non communicative whereas the DC5 feels more direct and heavy. But either way you can't go wrong.

            This guy in the US has retrofitted the DC5's steering in his EP3.

            But yeah if steering feel is the main niggle for someone then they should just get the DC5 =D

              Thanks for sharing that build. Pretty epic EP3!

              Regardless of what I said about the EP3 steering feel I still think the EP3 is great value for money.

                What's the head room even like in the back of the EP3 for passengers? I know in the DC5 your head is pretty much gonna hit the roof if you're about 5'8 or over

                  There is a quite a bit more space at the back in the EP3 compared to the DC5 so anyone over 5'8 should be fine.

                    Head room is not a problem with the ep3, there's actually a surprising amount of space in the back. With the dc5 the rear window arches back so some passengers might have to haunch over lol

                      No worries eskimo, it's an amazing build to read through!

                      Yeah EP3 headroom and legroom is great.

                      The boot is also pretty well sized, even more so if you remove the parcel shelf and fold seats down.
                      That being said with just the parcel shelf taken off I fit 3 passengers, 4 peoples worth of luggage and a guitar in the boot for a weekend away at Katoomba.
                      And I could still see out the back window! =D

                            Also hurting they brought in the FN2 and not the FD2

                            Would love to have a performance sedan that's not an evo or falcodore. They ain't cheap though. See used ones in the UK going for the same price as the FN2 was new.
