Lol, pliers to a sparky are what multigrips are to a plumber,
Hilti is awesome, really light weight and powerful but it is baller spec shit, 4 times the price of DeWalt gear
^As a sparky you should try out DeWalt speedboars, best ive used by far, have a mad fat shank and no winglets to snap off, pick em up from the states at a fraction of the price of those shit Irwin ones

I thought DeWalt was a bit more expensive? And all I have to buy are just basic hand tools. Everything else my company provides. I work for Stowe Australia so we don't have to provide our own power tools as they are supplied to us and whatever we need to use the drill for they supply.

I have two sets of stanley socket sets and a whole other little stanley tools. They are quite well made. I havent had much problems with stanley tools. As long as you look after your tools. They should last for quite some time.

I swear by Snap On but if you cannot justify the price Repco branded are pretty good and come with a no questions asked lifetime warranty

I use a Repco branded breaker bar. Love lifetime warranty =D

Milwaukee Battery Operated tools is all i tend to use. Seems to out do every other battery tool i've ever used.
Do my own maintenance work on my excavator and bobcat and these tools are never far behind!

Been a sparky for over 8 years now.
As above milwaukee is the best in cordless power tools. Along with AEG. There the same brand. Offer 6 years trade warranty.
I Use 18 volt hammer drill, 18v impact driver and 18v rotary hammer pretty much every day. And my AEG has never let me down. Only down fall is the rotary hammer drains the battery's when drill like 22mm holes through concrete or chiseling all day.

As for hand tools every brands have there good and bad shit. Stanley make good socket sets and the fat max extreme tape measures insane for measuring rooms by your self.
Kincrome are also great
