249.1 kW at the wheel Naturally Aspirated just from a small 4 cylinder

Few years ago 200kw naturally aspirated was a achievement to make. Nowadays 200kw is a walk in a park with the development of K series engines.

We have pieced together 3 engines for the BYP Racing and Development DRAG EG. They all of course went in stages which will define for future engine packages.

The latest development still utilize OEM k24 crank 88x99mm. Kinsler's 62mm ITB and ASP hood exit headers accompany the new engine setup to give it the extra HP.

    Motor specs

    Head -

    Kinsler 62mm ITB 's
    650cc FIC injectors
    Drag cartel 4.5 3 lobe
Drag cartel CNC ported K20a head
    Supertech valve train

    Bottom end

    13.7 Wiseco Shelf piston
    Carrillo Rods
    K20a oil pump setup

    Fuel - Martini E85

Peak power and rev cut off 9400rpm.

From last weekend tuning session it made a whopping 249.1 kw at the front wheels with power still climbing pass 9400rpm. We decided not to rev higher than that point due to oil pump limitations.

This engine currently holds the ALL motor record for 4 clylinder 10.45 @131MPH

      That's amazing.

If that engine was running pump 98, what do you think the power will be?

Well done guys! That's impressive power.

I moved your thread from the technical forum, since there isn't much technical content.

Soon enough Its quite hard to go quicker at the pointy end but we'll keep with this set-up for a couple of months

Hoping to pick-up a few MPH's and get it down to 10.2's

Hard to say, should be able to push 200kw out of it fairly easy on 98 fuel.

F20c are great engines so no point swapping a K series into it.
