I started to mod to improve the factory cars set up. Wether it's visual audio or preformance based mod. If I see hear or feel and improvement then I feel better for it.

Channel the modification into career improvement and it will be used in a positive manner! But a passion is a passion. To see something improve is natural. Like a lady with handbags and shoes. A guy with his toys and tools

To some people modified cars and racing cars are part of their career, so racing is career improvement!

I got into motor bikes to steer away from modding cars which didnt happen =(, or try another hobby.

Also depends on some peoples definition of 'modding'. Some people consider their cars modded after slapping on some led lights and maybe even changing the tyre valve caps, which technically is 'modding', but to a very very very minor extent. It's really each to their own i guess, but yes i am one of those who say 'this will be my last mod' but end up buying other stuff lol

As much as i like to mod my car.. a big part of me feels like it is a waste being that i never get to use the car+mods as much as i plan too. Last few months i completely stopped looking for parts etc but ever since hitting up the national park a few weeks ago.. improving the cara peeformance is back on my mind! And im aiming to do two trackdays in dec and preparing for honda nationals '13. A few mods were acquired last few days

Envy you big time Tom. Ever since Sugi / sugz introduced me to cars a few years ago its definitely a passion for me and i wish my career would invplve my passion. Last few weeks i realised (again) that i havnt found my dream job/position/industry. Im good att different things but they really dont hit the spot.. sigh. A bit off topic on this post.

                              I personally can't.

I can't stand the feeling that somebody can go and buy an exact same car as me, that's why i need to put my personal touch on it!

I've never had a car stock for longer than a couple of weeks...
