    Honda mechanics around Melbourne

    Hi all,

I moved to Melbourne several months ago and I've noticed that not many people talk of the honda specialists around Melbourne. For myself, I'm looking for one in SE Suburbs (out in Oakleigh direction) but this could serve to be a good thread for those who are looking for a mechanic?

I've recently snapped a wheel stud so some quick recommendations would be good!
    Wakefield: EG B18CR - R888 - 1.09.9
    Eastern Creek: DC5R - RE001/ER300 - 2.00.8
    Winton: DC5R - RE001 - 1.45.9

I hear MSC performance in Reservoir is good
And Seeker Motorsport in Preston is who TypeS swears by.

        Seeker Motorsport is in Clayton.

Plenty of good workshops over in the eastern suburbs.

Although they specialise in evo's, I bring my car down to the guys at Techsport in Bayswater (East of Melbourne) for alignments and 'what is this noise coming from my car' question.

Some of the other guys on the board have gotten some technical work done through them and have had nothing but good words for them as well.

They're a good bunch to talk to, very knowledgeable and professional from my experience. Rates are ~ $80/hour.

I've taken my car to a few places depending what needs to be done but for most of my things I go to Racing Project in Mitcham. Nelson can do almost anything.

I can recommend RacerX Motorsports at :
                    43 Terracotta Drive
                    Nunawading VIC 3131

                    Phone - 9877 2999

I take my DC2R there and the mechanic, Borison is the owner of the workshop and specializes in Hondas. There are a few people on this forum that I have recommended to go to him and were very pleased with his service.

Do you know the name of the owner? is it still Dean? I thought ART closed down ages ago.

They did go down at one point, and lots of people lost contact with them and struggle so much to find them, it's being run by his brother Ray now.

Something simply like that. Contact a honda dealer!

But we all know honda dealerships are pricey and have apprentices working in abundance..

Prefer a apprentice with the licensed mechanic watching them, rather then some one with no license at all like a couple of places that specialize in hondas in sydney! Mentioning no names!
