In regards to you wanting to use the car for circuit work, you have a very quick car to contend with: Brandon's DC2R built by the BYP boys (benson from BYP posted below you). No doubt you could build a quicker car, but you'd need to find the right people to do it for you and it would cost you a great deal of money. And you'd most likely need to hire a driver to drive it for you until you can build up your skill level on track.

Ive seen k20's with bolt ons run on the dyno and only pull 5 more Kw then what a B18 does on the dyno with bolt ons.
So if 15 G is only for a stock K20 with bolt ons its differently NOT worth it in my opinion. Even with the extra torque figure.sigpic

K20 with boltons - 140-145kw at the wheels
B18CR with boltons - 120-130kw at the wheels
The biggest asset of the K-series is the VTC technology and 6 speed gearbox. High 12's passes (k-series) vs high 13's passes (b-series). You do the maths of the difference in time.

Not that im starting a argument with you. But at HCC NSW dyno day. They highest k20 was from a EP3R and it only pulled 133kw with bolt on and tune.
And ive seen Dc5Rs run anywhere between 13.8 to 14.5 at the runs, with just bolt ons
Granted A k20 in a dc2 would be lighter.
I just think why spend 15G to drop a unopened K20 into your dc2 when you could just, Buy a Dc5R, sell the dc2r and build the Dc5R.
If you want a K20 best bet is to buy the Dc5R Or a old civic. Not a 13G dc2RLast edited by Karl; 17-08-12, 12:55 PM.sigpic
