Anyone wish the DC5 was RWD due to the 86/BRZ hype?

Even dc5s are everywhere now. Doesn't feel special or exclusive anymore
Relatively speaking, they are still quite rare. Just check carsales for relative figures.

It's what I noticed compared to ep3s. But dc5 and fn2 are AUDM so it's expected

^ I agree, there are many DC5S's and FN2R's in the Hills District now compared to a few years ago... Most of which are unmodified and driven by middle aged women, and occasionally, men...

          not!
I meant follow suit as in producing cars that appeal to car enthusiasts

i personally see no appeal in a brz/86... only hype and cost cutting measures by desperate car manufacturers...

but maybe i am not a car enthusiast?

and a simply aging cynic who is sadened by the demise fo the word 'styling' and the increasing simialrity of most new car designs... especially those out of Japan...

LOL I'm from the hills district

A lot of them around ay. It's like the middle ages housewife went. Oh that's a cute looking car I think I'll have it. Without any knowledge of what this car is or why it's built the way it is.

Strangely i do see a lot of appeal in the 86, the only affordable RWD coupe on the market but lord do i hate that monstrosity of an engine! Why you no get Honda to make the motor stupid Toyota!!

Perhaps the sales from this car will give Honda the kick up the ass it needs to make something half decent in the future.

Another thing i have been thinking about a lot recently is all this attention in the media about modified cars, kinda getting the feeling that what we do is severly in danger of existing soon -_-

Nothing much. Hype over the name of the car being an 86 and a lot of media coverage. Not my cup of tea but each to their own

40k buys u some good 2nd hand cars that won't drop in price so quickly as a car that will be everywhere.

                          Fk 40k almost gets u a nsx

its easy to agree which vehicle is better out of those 2 but for a new car with a decent warranty $35k driveaway for base model is pretty good imo, its purdy too
