    G'day,

    I'm getting 650-700kms mixed driving on a 2002 Dc5 base model using vortex 98.

Also using penrite 10-40 and only hondata mod airbox with toyo filter.

If your actually getting that, that's quite amazing honestly.

              not really, it's 7.5l/100km in a 'base' dc5

              FWIW - i get 7l/100 on the freeway with a 1995cc B series... (with a tuned ECU)

On my stock dc2r i get highway 6.8-7l/100, street ~7.5l/100. The engine now has done just over 160000km using Shell 98 and Castrol Edge 5w-40.

Thought I bump this thread as I have recorded the beest fuel consumption ever in the past 4 years!

Usually I get 9ish litres per 100km with a mix of street/highway driving using only BP Ulitmate (98 Octane)

                  Today I recorded 7.34L/100km!

Even when I had a tuned ECU I could only get around 8.5L-9.5L/100km..

When my car was stock I was averaging about 10L/100kms.

                    After I/H/E now I'm Averaging 11.5L/100kms

Using Mobil 1 5w30 Full Synthetic.

I feel like I am using alot more fuel than most you guys. I hardly ever Vtec it aswell =/

Just a quick question, the previous owner stated that he has never changed the air filter on my 50000km accord. I have already vacuumed it but the fuel consumption is still 13-15L/100. Would buying a new air filter help?
