I usually get about 450 - 470 kms per full tank, my dc5r is daily driven to and from work, but it's only a 10-15 minute trip with minimal traffic on Windsor Rd. You're not always fangin' it everywhere you go are you? =P

            that is TERRIBLE

            20 litres per 100 kilometres?

you have a serious problem with your car (likely)

or you have a very very bad driving style (unlikely)

or you have a 5.7l v8 in your car (impossible)

Im confussed. I though letting it warm up at idle is better then just driving it?? I wait untill my oil temp is at least 65 degrees before i drive. And i still go slow untill it hit 80 degrees

no, you are misinformed (maybe your grandpa used to warm up his old car?)

in a fuel injected car made in the 1990's?

it is pointless and damages your car/environment more than starting your car and driving it normally...

the amount of time it takes to put your seat belt on and check your mirrors is sufficient for the car to be ready to drive.

sitting at idle when the engine is cold is very bad for the engine...

you really should stop doing this.
