Visors

Hey guys,

Planning to get a set of visors for dc5s. Just wondering how do you put the visors on? Some selling it say its placed on by heavy duty double sided tape but i thought the visors were put on my clips?? just want to confirm it

Mines were double sided tape and a small clip which is apart of the visor which slides in between door seal and side mirror.

is there much difference between genuine and non-genuine visors?? was planning to get non-genuine since its $200 cheaper

Go genuine. Fitment is vital. Installing them is real fuckinf wierd. I finally got it the second time lol. Let me know if u need help

Agree.. If you rush it, its all over.
The tape sticks fast, so you want to make sure its 100% in place.
best to be done with 2 people. one to worry about the clips and one to worry about that tape.

I don't know about you guys but i installed aftermarket ones with 2 people in about 5 minutes. It was quite easy!

mine were replicas and fit perfectly fine

I put genuine ones on my Type S and they obviously fit perfect, I just pulled down the rubber lining so I could get the clips in nicely and then stuck the heavy duty tape on (just did it by my self as I have no friends), just make sure you put the lining back in properly otherwise you might get a leak!

Not buying any more replica shit.
Eventually has problems sometime down the track.
If you plan to keep your car, i wouldn't settle for anything less then genuine.
