aluminium plate = 2.3kg
screws & nuts = 0.03kg
mounting brackets = 0.02kg
saving of 12+ kg from the highest part of the car,
centre of gravity is reduced substantially.
which improves handling and acceleration improves also.
i will have a full write up of the install soon...... retired/

^^ i meant where did u get the parts and who is doing the install. i have seen the "faster lighter" spk kit, but its us$370 and thats without delivery. however, its a complete kit with instructions and it can be bonded or welded and the cf plug is curved to the roof and not flat. its pretty bling.
i just want to plug my sunroof as i dont use it, plus its got a faultybracket which causes it to scrape my roof. i just resprayed my roof so i wont be using my sunroof anymore, thats why i want to plug it, plus it reduces any potential leaks in the future.
pm me with details of where and who supplied the parts, im keen to do this as well

i dont let other people touch my car if i can avoid it - especially on something like this.

but they are out of business aren't they?

bling? what is that, lol? plus this ally plate will be curved too.....

if it turns out as well as i expect, i will probably make the parts available as a kit, with step by step instructions.... retired/
