No no thats the airbox.

The resonator is a big box that sits in the bottom right of the front bumper.

It then runs a pipe to the bottom of the airbox.

For increased air flow and sound - remove that airbox and like you said put piping from the bottom of the airbox to the front of the car.

This would ensure cold air gets sucked in.

Ohh right gotcha.. well i bought the car in second hand without the resonator. Didn´t even know that this car had one Lol! now i have a tube bringing in cold air from the front of the bumper and into the air box.

Yep.. they can do that, if they suspect of any tuning, they can easily pull me over and make me pop up the hood. If they see any modifications they can impound my car. But it depends which cop looks at your car, if he´s a motherf### as#### he can really mess up your life, if he´s an easy going cop he may not even ask to pop up the hood and say that the car looks cool. They don´t even know what is legal or not, so the government just put out a stupid law that says any modification to the cars characteristics and functioning is illegal. That´s Portugal for ya lol
But this is also due to the stupid racing on Vasco da Gama Bridge.

No.. not today, 2 years ago, because of all the bling bling in the engine bay and exhaust and 16 inch rims. They thought i had NOS or something i don´t know.

Yap, they are lower than normal. When i bought the car it came that way. The owner took them off than when he sold it stuck some other ones Lol
