Where'd you pick up the optional rear bar, JDM yard?
I've just bought a smilar pioneer headunit, did you have to use mounting cage?
Mine's pretty much and empty space, aside from the factory din pocket to mount the headunit on. Im abit worried the headunit wont be flush or stay in place after installing.

Thanks! I got the rear bar off an ozhonda member, they go for about $150ish. Hmm dont think i used one it just has screws to hold it in place i think lol but the previous one was also an aftermarket one so yeah

awesome dc2r mate. I just got some BC N+ for my dc2r and hoping to get the same height. How low is it front and back (measurements)? maximum legal height? headers and guards ok?

think theres about a 2cm gap front & 2.5cm gap rear between the arch and tyres. Yeah maximum legal height or close to. Resonator and lip scrape the most

Small Update

Haven't been here in ages lol but heres whats been happening in the last few weeks or so...

Car hasn't been driven much at all this year since I started taking the unreliable sydney trains. I say its done like about 1000kms so far this year. Anyways it just recently ticked over 110,000kms so i did a minor service for it

Old HID kit starting leaking some weird liquid so got rid of it and replaced with a new kit from autoplatonium.


Tyres were bald since like last year but couldn't be bothered to get them replaced until now. Was about to buy until i found some guy on ozhonda selling a set of Regamaster Evos for cheap. Only bad points were the high offset, some gutter rashes and probably more rusty than old nails on the inside of the rims but mehh...


Few days after got them fixed and redone in a satin/semi-gloss black. Went with black cause it seemed like the only few colour that works well with a yellow car imo.


Got a set of rays lug nuts in black


Then got brand new tyres and chucked everything on. Adjusted my coilovers so its not as low as before anymore. Heres what it looks like...


Thinking of getting some spacers to push them out a tiny bit. Hau gave a pair of bolt-ons so i did a test fit. Didnt seem too safe so I took them off lol. Still debating if I should run spacers at all or just get new wheels later...


Then finally gave it a proper wash after like 8 months lol. Yes I know im lazy...


Ordered a set of strut king pedals to replace my worn oem rubber ones and hardrace engine mounts but ill update when they come in and i get them installed
