Bought this today

Some people swear upon this. I used to use Meguires NXT, and I adored that product!! But now retailers say that this product works much better than the NXT.

Can't wait to see how it comes out

Can't wait to see after hondata is installed and tuned with the Toda header
However the rear end does need abit of tweaking, perhaps a thicker RSB, new bushes, new camber, new tyres. Because at sometimes it did feel that the car was going to drift but it still maintained controll. Anyone had that issue? Please share on what I need to upgrade to overcome that problem.

My guess is the coilover preload is abit +(up) from buddyclub specs, they did say 12mm but I think I went 15 or 16mm just so it can sit 'abit' lower, however it didn't do anything so I probably preload it to 12mm.
This is over-steer, usually of the lift-off kind for integra's.

Curing oversteer comes courtesy of increasing the rear tyres grip. You may do this by:

- increasing rear camber
- softer rear tyre compound
- increasing rear tyre width
- softening rear springs/damping
- lowering rear tyre pressure
Honda Nationals, September 9-10, get amongst it!

updates

hard race sephircal camber gear , front aligned to -3.4 and rears 3.0. Forgot the front and rear toe.
hard race full bushing kit - much more responsive feelings. Havn't installed the rear lca ones, waiting on new lca
rear spoon bar - rear spoon c pillar
sparco seats - sparco rails
voltex gt type 3 - voltex 275mm extension
nsx twin block calipers

waiting on
dba rotors front and rear
removal of a/c
new radiator
new dc2r gearbox rebuilt - carbon synchros and new hub/sleeve/rings

been to lakeside raceway, best pb is 1.06. Next outing is soon with the new gearbox/lsd, tooo much understeer atm. Aiming for 1.02 this year, just need more seat time i guess.

more pics later

thanks all

Thanks Andrew, will do

So the teg has been a stand still in progress for a few months, still drive it on weekends sometimes, and still get to start it regularly.

Had a few things that I wanted sorted for a long time awhile back-
Mod plated for 2 seater
Booked in for a custom 6pt roll cage
Sort out front/rear aero
Sort out suspension

After that suddenly I suspected some sludge build up under the oil cap, and a lot of coolant loss. So that means not too long now till I'm back in the garage working on the car again, yay

Then slowly went through some descions like Kswap or built bseries. After talking to a lot friends, looking at lots of results I finally chose I wanted. Built b-series. For the track I go to, power means nothing. Built b-series will be there for the reliability and a proper track suited engine.

However, I will just replace the headgasket and other bits and pieces for now until I get my hands on crate engine. In the mean time, I need seat time yo!

Here are some pics

Hey guys long time no update and i feel bit bored haha,

after last event I replaced the headgasket, and fitted some new parts while at it.
Head service, machine, pressure tested at JHH Racing
OEM Gasket and seals, ARP Head studs
New Intake manifold + 68mm tb + DC2R Injen CAI
Complete rebuilt DC2R 4.7 LSD gearbox
etc etc etc

Then bought some Aero gear from BYP. I did make a splitter before, however I really liked the P1 design. It is a very ideal design, easy to take off and put on.

And then ofcourse, I went out racing to test the new gear. Then one of my friends Robb Holland explained some new things to me on how to fine tune the suspension, so mid last year I did a complete overhaul and retuned the suspension.

Now the car has a PB of 63.1, with plenty more potential still using the old RS-R tires. I am planning to get into the low 62's, and hopefully by 2014 I'll have plans for the power output with a tuned engine.

Then wash after track day

Final outing at lakeside 2012

Extended rear wing, to minimize the oversteer @ 190kph at lakeside

Some minor weight reduction

Random photo day

At the moment I'm struggling with work projects with uni assignments and studying for on-coming exams. But Easter is coming up and by then I'll have some new Voltex aero, complete roll cage, new springs for the coilovers, and something I've been wanting for a very very long time.

Thanks all hope you enjoyed the picture overload

Thanks Stephen, hope that you get your new car soon!

So a few months ago I got invited to the EVO Happy lap sessions at Queensland Raceway, using their National Circuit which is the longest of them all.

Then All stars from NSW organised an event at QLD Gold Coast, first show and shine and it was all organised 5 star class.
A lot of long hours, zero swirls and paint looked fresh

http://www.the-lowdown.com/all-stars-qld/

Then came the mid and final semester exams, assignments. Promised myself not to touch the DC2 whilst studying.
And then came the Holidays (3weeks ago), and got back into full time working. The first weekend was just for me and the DC2, so took her to Lakeside for a bit of cruising and to get the confidence back.

Road temp's were super cold, so I thought I'd be a bit safer using aggressive downforce for the rear.

After the event it completely brought my temptations of racing again. So I booked in a track day and then started prepping, taking the final dead weights off
Roof lining, side pillars, rear window plastics, there were 5 random brackets, OEM Steering wheel, some wiring, all added upto 13kg I was super happy

I replaced the OEM steering wheel with a Sparco one, was completely sick off seeing Nardi on everyone's car and Sparco was my favorite .
The particular one I wanted was used in the Tilton evo race car. Kosta is a very down to earth bloke, back in 2000 he built a DC2 as well. 2L, caged, ITB's and all the track goodies tuned by ART in Melbourne. This is his current race car that most of all you know very well if you follow WTAC

As you can see, a few more wiring on the roof I have to clean up.

I do plan to paint the interior some day I get bored. But I love the OEM primer, I plan to paint the interior the same color.

Found a rare 5zigen Superlap exhaust, still keeping the J's racing though.

So much to do over this weekend to prep for next week's track day, however it is basically deleting a few wiring, re torque a few bolts, aero, and a complete service.
