2nd test at sepang. Fastest lap was a 2:36. We are quite confident when we put in new gear ratios (they just arrived today. woot!) as well as the new brake system (should arrive by the end of the week), and better tyres (R888's suck), we can hit the low 2:30's. Next test is on the 24th of June. Will keep you guys updated once we install stuff

Man you can control your car, even with those tyres loosing grip you manage to do so well. The gears definetly should help on that track.

By curiousty, what lap times were the GT cars running? Do they have a certain type of class, A/B/C? Or are they sorted differently? Which class is your car in?

Thanks for the comment. There's still a lot of work to do to the car. I got something coming in hopefully next week.

Btw, i wasn't driving in that video. It was one of my drivers that will be participating along side myself for next year's race season. He's actually Australian and he won the IPRA U2L title last year.

The first GT car was actually an Audi R8. They run about a 2:10 lap where as we right now run a 2:38.

There are 3 classes. GT class, sport production, and touring production. We are in the touring production category.

Things are coming along, and hopefully we'll be making an impact in the local racing scene.

Boy do I miss driving at Sepang! Such a big track and when had passengers in the car you could pretty much have a chat going down the main and back straights.

The new ratios should give you better times. Are you just getting into sixth at the top of the straights?

I drove a friend's Proton GTi that was used in the Merdeka Millenium and one if the F1 support races around there as well, great fun!
