As for the Type S seats, I think plAythiNG knows that they aren't recaros but was just asking for a comparison. In any case i think Didz is right, I'm pretty sure recaro aren't making seats for Honda anymore. I think Honda are making their own in-house design seats? They look like Recaros though but are "branded" Type R for e.g:

FD2R (FN2R shares the same seat as well I'm pretty sure):

But again, I'm not 100% sure as Honda haven't really been producing many "sport" cars with seats to compare!
Yes 05/06 type S doesnt come factory with recaro seats... quite comfortable with a racing style design but not recaros lol.

imo looks much different to EVO9 recaros

Small update! I've had these audio parts lying around. Figured I might as well put them to use. Planned to put in the Clarion head unit but install guys said it wasn't working, something to do with the power supply. It was an awesome head unit too, came out of my old car! In any case, out with the old and in with the new! Picked up an Alpine head unit and will be installing soon!

Old Clarion head unit now for sale! Produced awesome sound quality before and was recommended by FHRX $10,000 and $20,000 builds.

Alpine W407EBT. No CD/DVD slot so less moving parts! Comes with Ipod and bluetooth connectivity built in with all wires provided.

DLS speakers with crossover and boston acoustic tweeters. May upgrade the tweeters as I bought the mid bass driver separately.

Old school Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp to power the fronts and rears.

Boston Acoustic Co Axials for rears. Unsure if I should use them at all as I've heard putting in aftermarket rears may distort the sound?

JBL Amp and Sub. Might look to upgrade this before I put it in, not too sure yet. I'll need to get some advice from some audio people!

nah mate turned out lucky ive been too lazy to update thread lol. was just interior damage +ECU...insurance is replacing stock carpet, trims and dash, door trim, and seatbelts lol. Also wiring under the dash and the stock ECU.

ran compression tests and engine is 100%.

so its just being re-fitted basically
            expecting it back next week.

                    Latest purchases:

                    JDM Visors:

                    Rays Lugs:

                    Front Badge:

Also bought that rear badge pictured there from ebay in America however they either sent me the wrong one or I ordered the wrong one. I believe the rear badge is for the EK9? Will be putting it up for sale and will be looking to JDMConcept for the rear badge now!

tbh, haven't even had the time to install it yet! Looking for a good place to do the install. Haven't heard too much about stores other than FHRX, Ryda and lifestylestore. I'm assuming these stores will charge a fair amount and bit broke. Will probably save up to get a better sub also. Any recommendations on an audio store to do the work?

Still in search for a pair to nicely fit the rears. Was considering 17 x 8.5 +30?
