I think that my mechanics theory is opposite to yours. Being that he would rather know what is going into the engine rather than what is coming out.
I am in the middle, i would like to know what is going in, and what is coming out.. peice of mind is what i aim for with this.

Just when i say no more mods, i log onto k20a.org and see that skunk2 has a new manifold out.......... dammit

i heard about the new skunk manifold...its based on the rbc, but with thicker walls for more porting, and made of lighter/stronger materials....imo, just got for the rbc...much cheaper, and more readily available...plus i dont beleive porting a k20 head will give you much gains anyway as it already flows really good as standard (unless you go with something like spec f cams)

Nah no retune as yet.. it has picked up some power, and my butt dyno says its a fair bit.
It does need a clean up tune though. That will come in the spring time though when the weather is a bit warmer.. dont want to lean on it too much =)

Yeah dude.. i know.. its not like i dont wanna drive it... but i havent had the time of late lol... it got to the stage where it was leaving my house maybe once a week for ages there.

Ill leave the power alone for a while.. concentrate on getting the most out of the suspension & tyres for a while =)

Before new year update................


Well its been pretty quiet on the car front. Work and the lady have taken over my time lol. Other than the new wheel nuts and studs that were fitted (after some kent tried to steal my wheel) I have found new camber top pillow ball bearings (yet to go in) and my lovely girlfriend got me pretty much everything from the glare polish australia range for my birthday, so a full detail when i get the time and garage space will be coming.

Im really hanging to give the glare range a shot and give twiggy some outside lovin!

Yes I still have the car, I will never get rid of it, I love it too much.

No updates apart from a oil change here and there. I have driven the car 1600km in the past 12 months ... ludicris, I know...

Bring it out to the 5 year anniversary cruise, 1000km in one day! You were at the first ClubITR meet I think I ever went to at Glen Waverley, would be good to see the car out again.
