I've owned this car for about 2.5 years now and I've been running this setup for over 1.5 years now and thought it was about time I got some photos of it. So I decided to ask one of the best people in the business, Felix Alim!

But just a question, if you notice the engine seems to be mounted REALLY far forward and in front of the struts, does that effect the weight balance significantly?

I assume you'd have to mount it further forward for header clearance. Never looked at many K swap DC2s before. The only other options would be a less efficient header or a firewall mod. Is the K20 heavier than the B18?

apparently the k20 engine is approximately 20kg lighter than the b18

So balance could be better with a forward mounted K20 if you're correct Richy. I doubt it's 20kg though. Maybe 10.

No source. I'm just surprised it's that much lighter considering extra capacity. I don't know much about the B18C. Is it a cast block? That would explain such a huge weight difference.
