It's finished! Well, it's on the road :)

With my DC2 back on the road a few guys on here have asked for some pics and stuff, so here goes...

Almost two years ago I started on a serious build for a fast and fun track car. I didn't really have a definite goal or budget in mind which had the consequence of me taking an extraordinarily long time to complete my project to a drivable stage.

The car performance industry is a fickle one, parts take forever and it's hard to get what you ask (and pay for) a lot of the time. Work and family commitments also took their toll and there were times where the project was almost abandoned all togeter. But eventually everthing came to fruition and I'm now enjoying my efforts and learning to drive around a track again - which is awesome fun.

I'd like to thank Jason (BlackDC2) for all his help and his gear - his garage, hoist, lathe, press, bandsaw, parts washer, drill press - all stuff which made the build so much easier than the bad old days of working in the rain on his dad's driveway. I also thank my fiance, Sam, for putting up with all the late nights and lost Saturdays; Adrian and Ash from Toda Racing for their advice, porting and tuning; Westside Performance for their wicked exhaust work; Dragcar Fabrication for the cage.

With the exception of the machining, porting, tuning, exhaust and cage all work was DIY.

If I had my time and money again, I would of gone a K20 swap or a stock Evo

Great work! That is a really purposeful looking engine bay. What are the plans for the car?
