    Colour looks great guy! We can compare and discuss the relative merits of the Wavetrac against the OEM DC5R differential when we meet at Wakefield.

          Here is something for any future K-swappers that will be using the K20Z1

          Ive noticed that the shifter cables that come from the 05+ K20Z1 engines actually have big counter weights on them which intrude on the hybrid racing shifter box.

          This is what they look like

          This is the shifter box, as you can see its quite a slim unit and the weights on the K20Z1 lines protrude at the end of the box which then doesnt allow you to put the cover back on.

          Ive read somewhere that it should be fine to just dremel them off (obviously being careful not to cut the line) Im not 100% sure of this but im waiting for confirmation.

                    Hey guys updates coming soon I promise - Hopefully some teaser photos :P

                    But quick question if anyone can answer. Im looking at uprading the brakes. What is the difference between slotted and non-slotted rotors on a street / occasional track car if im running upgraded semi-metallic pads and 4 piston calipers. (Hope I didnt reveal too much)

                    Am I going to have any problems with the pad eating into the rotor and having the rotor warp or crack on me?

                      you should try to match rotor to the pads,

                      in most cases a rotor that will be able to deal with hot pads will be slotted anyways.

                      slots = good.
                      ... retired/

                          hmmmm
                          I havent tried screwing on my oem shifter but i tried my T1R and it went on though i think i have to be careful because it looks like its threading a tiny bit cause there where a few shavings when i took it off.
