update, i've sold the dc2r already and picked up my 3 series coupe

hey guys! it's been a while since i've been on clubitr, but i'm back for a short stay!

having sold my mx5 NC i was ready to upgrade to a 07/08 3 series coupe or 07/08 audi s3, however having spent about 1-2 unsuccessful months looking for one, i've decided to buy a cheap run around car until i find the perfect one. initially i was looking at early 90's mr2 or the classic shape wrx to have a bit of fun in, but i figured they'll probably cause me extreme headaches and wasn't worth the trouble due to the age of the cars.

one day whilst having lunch with my mate, he suggested i have a look at his mint condition 2001 milano red dc2r as an option, cars in immaculate condition inside and out, all log books, 2 set of keys, fully stock and around 6X,XXX kms

took the car for a spin and memories of all the fun i had in the dc5r and my younger brothers dc2r came flooding back in, pretty much the next day i bought the car off him.

planning to keep the car stock as i'll be selling it as soon as i find a 07/08 3 series coupe or 07/08 audi s3

hey guys i've been on the forum lurking around for a while but never made a intro thread so here it is
my names chris and i've owned my dc5r for just over a year and to this day it still makes me smile everytime i start it up
as far as modifications just a few bolt on mods and buddy club n+ coils

the JDM rims look better on a DC5R IMHO, especially on a blue car.

nah lol just sold the wheels cause the offset was bad and to partially fund my melbourne sensation/summerdayze trip lol

ah fair enough. what was wrong with the offset of tje JDM rims? i know they were +60, which is a tad high, but it shouldnt matter....

yeah it sits in the guard too much. i was considering spacers but worried about insurance issues later on but they defintely look sweet as

17's looked good on it. but over are looks pretty clean

Could try and get yourself some white Ep3 rims, I think they are +45 and still look sweet

as for ep3 rims i never really like the design. i was thinking something along those rays time attack design
