    marsh's DC5R

Hey guys I'm James, new around here as you chave probably guessed!

Bought my DC5R a couple of months back now, upgraded from an AUDM 91 CRX w/ B16a.

    Would never look back.
I love the CRX but it just really doesn't compare to the ITR.

The car is totally standard apart from a 3A racing pod.
I would like a Mugen airbox but hey, the car was expensive enough

It came with standard 17in white rims
    Type R scuff plates
    Tinted Windows
    A/C
    Type R floor mats
    Cruise control
    Fabric and paint protection

    So anyway, a few pics...

I did purchase a full stainless exhaust system for it (BuddyClub headers, Fujitsubo cat-back) but have since decided against modding, so therefore that stuff is for sale.
Well the cat-back anyway since the headers are gone.

Anyway hoping to learn a bit from you guys as I know very little about the car at the moment.
Just enjoying the sheer pleasure of the drive.

    Cheers

Not many indeed, this is the only DC5R like it in the state
There are other DC5R's but not in this colour with the 17's etc

I have seen a Red DC5R with Tas plates in Melbourne. That guy is a trouble maker.

Haha you reckon they are just anti-Tassie?

they just don't understand us tassie lot.

i guess i should point out a few minor mods i would like to do but may not.

despite the fact it is arguably overpriced, I would love to get my hands on a Mugen airbox.
From what I have read you get great gains but without the sucking intake noise of a pod.

Also would like either some D2 or BC N+Spec coilovers.
The stock handling is great, but still not 100% happy at high speed cornering.
Also the ride height is just a bit too high for my viewing pleasure

Tein Flex in my opinion. My car used to ride on them and sit 3.5" lower than stock. Nice height and great ride. But DC5s will need inverted tie rods to overcome bumpsteer when lowering.
