has the 275/40 profile messed with your rolling diam?
looks absolutely animal btw. i really think you are a crazy bastard.
Thanks, and it is true I am a little crazy. I have put a lot of effort and money into fitting these tyres so if it isn't fast it is going to suck .
Hoosier claim 648mm diameter for the 275/40s and my stock size RE001s are purported to be 633mm in diameter so the difference is not huge. Not enough to worry about in my opinion.
I once considered getting some R32 GT-R wheels for track, they are good gear . Then something snapped in my brain and I decided to see whether I could fit huge tyres.
Damn guy, how're you gonna get enough heat into your back tyres to get them sticky? Remember EastCoastRSX?
I have no idea, a whole lot of FWD drift will probably help. Up for some passenger laps with maniacal laughter included? I think there were plenty of flaws in that EastCoastRSX guys setup so I think I will have a little more success. Hopefully.

Haha, you know I'm kidding guy. Your setup will kick ass and I'm keen to help document you prove those Yanks wrong about running anything larger than 255's on R-compounds.
<-- that is me during our passenger lap

Thanks for the vote of confidence. All will be revealed when I take it to the track soon .
will it slow it down at all with all that friction???
top work, per usual
Thanks! I am hoping the loss of acceleration from the larger wheels and tyres and the added rolling resistance will be more than offset by the significantly higher cornering speeds. We will see .
