just a little update...no one seems to know exactly whats wrong with the engine. we've narrowed it down to one or any of the following:
1. oil pump
2. chain tensioner
3. faulty camshafts
will get the oil pressure tested out on tuesday, so that will narrow it down. if oil pressure is all good, then we'll pull out the cams and the chain and the tensioner and inspect what exactly is going on there. i guess these things happen when you start doing real mods to you engine...its all part of the fun

well, other than i/h/e/ecu, i did the following:
rbc IM/hondata IM gasket
supertech valve springs/supertech retainers
toda spec c camshafts
toda chain tensioner
oh, and on a side note, i still have the stock T/B which proves that a bigger t/b without an extensive engine build is useless (on k series anyway)183.2KW ATWBUILT BY DR HONDA

well, after doing oil pressure test and replacing the vtc solonoid, the rattle is still there. we are now 100% sure its faulty camshafts. im very dissapointed as these spec c's were bought from a member on these forums and now that member has changed his number and is avoiding getting in touch with me183.2KW ATWBUILT BY DR HONDA
