                5 monthly update!

                Recent Mods.

                1. Kuhmo KU36 tyres.

225/45/17 all round. I drove down to Canberra with these fitted, and my GF actually thought they where quieter then the KU31's I use to have. Handling wise... awesome. Stick to the road really nicely, and I think I might get another set once these run out.

                Also got an alignment today.

                - Camber
                Front: -0.04
                Rear: -3.10

                - Caster - Front
                Left: 1.26
                Right: 0.54

                - Toe
                Front: 0.10
                Rear: 0.10

                2. Hondata K-Pro

Had it for about 2 weeks... finally got around to fitting it today. Using the Injen intake, Toda header, Mugen cat back base tune... and there is a noticeable difference. Power delivery is very smooth, and it just feels like it wants to keep going.

Also has a different induction and exhaust noise.

Well Adrian from toda came up to Brisbane for a week, and tune a few guys cars.

Was good to see what the car was doing with the base map I was using. There was quite a dip in power at around 5000RPM, and then a massive surge around around 5500. This has been smoothed out, and there is only a slight dip now. So I'm quite happy with the outcome. They also said that the air/fuel was all over the shop with the base map, so they cleaned all that up to.

I am personally one that doesn't really look into the final power figure on a dyno, but its up to 136kw, which is up 20kw from when I had the car dynoed when it was stock 3 years ago.

Scanner at home isn't working so I'll have to use the one at work.

Now I just have to fight the urge to buy some good headers (Using JDM 4-2-1 at the moment) and a better intake manifold and throttle body :S

                    good job man.

What's wrong with the toda headers?

                      wha?

Never had Toda headers... when ever someone is selling them they get snapped up so quick! There is a set of Maxium Works ones in Brisbane... but then I would have to get a retune

                          Naa...

When you get k-pro it has about 20 base maps to choose from ranging from full stock, to moded stock... all the way through to turbo/supercharged options. So the map I was running was one that was tuned for a K20a with Injen intake, Toda headers and Mugen cat back.
