granted stronger parts usually would warrant in a stronger engine and maybe survive more punishment.. but a dc2 stock engine with a good tune, and atleast good choice of ECU injectors and fuel pump, Mani, Turbo sizing will cope fine with enough Go Juice to take on almost any car =P
but in the end its all about the tune!.. even if you had an "indestructible" block im sure a really really bad Tune could break it =P..Memorable quotes

a common misconception...
the ability of the engine to handle "boosted intake charge" is kinda dependent on the ability of the engine to resist "pre-detonation"...
this comes down to the tuning
therefore the most important part of a turbo'ed high compression engine is the fuel supply and engine management and the abilities of the person in charge of tuning the engine.... retired/

ding ding ding.. and survey says!.. DING!..
i forget to add.. a very good Wastegate is like also the most important part.. if your wastegate cant hold or Fluctuates.. all you need is one spike and your engine is gone.. Tial make good wastegates ^_^..Last edited by Wlee2; 16-07-07, 11:58 AM.Memorable quotes

Of course 'yes', it puts more stress on the stock components, but its not prematurely going to blow up.
In saying all that, I went quality everything, top components, top install and top tunner. From that you get results. Anything less and you won't get that sort of output and or you might have problems with reliability.Deano.
