      Not a completely true comment..

granted stronger parts usually would warrant in a stronger engine and maybe survive more punishment.. but a dc2 stock engine with a good tune, and atleast good choice of ECU injectors and fuel pump, Mani, Turbo sizing will cope fine with enough Go Juice to take on almost any car =P

but in the end its all about the tune!.. even if you had an "indestructible" block im sure a really really bad Tune could break it =P..

        a common misconception...

the ability of the engine to handle "boosted intake charge" is kinda dependent on the ability of the engine to resist "pre-detonation"...

this comes down to the tuning

therefore the most important part of a turbo'ed high compression engine is the fuel supply and engine management and the abilities of the person in charge of tuning the engine.

ding ding ding.. and survey says!.. DING!..

i forget to add.. a very good Wastegate is like also the most important part.. if your wastegate cant hold or Fluctuates.. all you need is one spike and your engine is gone.. Tial make good wastegates ^_^..

When you have the Best Honda Tuner in Australia looking after your car, you have nothing to worry about.

Anyone who is serious about cars that perform, you can't go pass the one and only DynoDave!

I saw a "Blue" Tial 50mm Bov that I have, installed on another car previous to my purchase.

I did not like it at all.

So that is why I went to colourless ie silver one, in the Bov and WG.

As I said on Ozhonda, hawwt. I'm sure the 200kw is streetable too.

More pics of the inside guages if you don't mind Deano! I'm trying to convince myself to get the Defi's and holder

so going fi doesnt neccesarrily mean a rebuild and forged everything?
Have you had your daily dose of VTEC?

Well it depends on how far you wanna go. My 200kw is on a good tune. Its quite rich on top. If your looking at more output then you would look in to stronger componets.

Of course 'yes', it puts more stress on the stock components, but its not prematurely going to blow up.

In saying all that, I went quality everything, top components, top install and top tunner. From that you get results. Anything less and you won't get that sort of output and or you might have problems with reliability.

I think it depends on what you want from 'your' car at the end of the day, if your happy with outright power then thats cool. You just don't generally see 500hp turbo's on 1.8's, thats all
