I've taken some inspiration from Eddie and bought a brand new manual Jazz yesterday. I picked it up from Honda in the morning and then straight to IS Motor Racing to fit up some parts (again, very influenced by Eddie lol).
So yes, back in the HONDA FAMILY!
Well I picked it up yesterday off Phillip from Larke Hoskins Honda in Roseberry. I got a free Honda umbrella (yay).
I didn't have time to talk to the lady who was trying to zap my wallet for things I didn't really need so I bolted out of there. The car was waiting for me in the wash bay and first thing I noticed was how easy the manual is to drive. Lifting my foot just slightly off the depressed clutch pedal made the car start moving forwards. Obviously designed so that even the worst manual driver couldn't stall it!
Off to JDMyard I go then to pick up some coilovers. Here's a few pics parked outside JDMyard:
Wow so clean.
Pumped guards lol.
So high off the new car fumes... I feel great.
OK so then I load up the goods (after loading up my stomach on McDonalds AND after the boss (Zi) taking the car for a drive around the block (so easy he says!) and I am off to IS Motor Racing in Rockdale. I get there only find this black S15 which wiped the smile (which the new car fumes was giving me) right off my face. To think that I was closing in on a deal on a black S15 only a few days ago, in black too. This pretty much broke my heart. I sat there and looked at the S15, then the Jazz... then the S15, then the S15 again. Regret so early? Ah fucking shit! LOL.
Which one would you take?!
OK well fuck, let's get back to reality. Here's some stuff I had in the boot.
- J's Racing C-Pillar bar from JDM CONCEPT
- Cusco lower tie bar from JDM CONCEPT
- Buddy Club N+ coilovers from JDMyard
In goes the C-Pillar bar.
And up on the hoist for the Cusco lower arm bar.
And oops Chris at ISMR had a Spoon front strut brace in stock and it found it's way onto the car.
Coilovers aren't on yet, will be on ASAP. And BTW, a few peeps on JDMST have pointed out that my plates read "ANAL YO!"
FUCK!!!
