I have a heap of photos this week as progress have been good. Block is now down to bare block, nothing more at all can be removed! the crank is already at the machinist to be linished and oil holes deburred. All big end and main bearings were in good shape but will be replaced for a fresh set. Pistons rods and rings are in great condition except the damage from the spark plug strap. If not for one piston hit at the edge and having a tinny mushroom to the side of the piston it would be possible to re use them. It amazes me how robust Honda engines are , 11:1 compression and 10 psi on stock parts and no signs of stress

As always I have had my head down and bum up into this build, just the little things.my clutch master cyclinder some times gave trouble so in with a new Honda one I had. Cleaned out the line and the slave as it was really bad. A quick paint of the slave and got excited and painted the engine mount also.
Trying some thing different on the shift cables, its tech flex that is used for covering wiring and cables and with heat shrink I think it looks good. Let me know if you guys like it or not? I will be redoing my harness in the same covering so it should tie in together nicely I hope.

I am all excited as some of the cool parts are rolling in. the rods Pistons are all here. The head is back, ported to the manifolds, all new super tech parts in and looking sweet. I have just finished up the wiring harness. The engine block is at the machine shop getting honed to piston to wall clearances. Main bearing, seal kit, timing chain and tensioner, vrs kit have all rolled up.
It might take a fue posts for all the awesomeness to fit in!Last edited by wpg81; 07-02-16, 07:11 PM.
