That red pen is too streong....

If i were you though roll your guards first! Will probably help with your scrubbing issue in the mean time if you dont plan to get coil overs especially any time soon.

it rides very well felix, its not as stiff as coilovers but not as soft as stock suspension a very nice balance actually i do alot of driving in the city and suburbs and it adapts nicely. I'd actually keep it but i need coilvers to attain more camber at my front end. Im pretty sure it sits a tad lower then the factory height if you can tell from my photos

hehe yeah but i have a feeling it'll fade again oh well i was bored so gave it a go. i do intend to get coilovers relatively soon hopefully early january but they are already rolled somewhat! will get them fully rolled out soon

Can also get front camber bolts to attain camber adjustment. Cheaper than coilovers if that's all you wanted out of them lol.

Edit: Didn't see you already had the bolts lol. How much negative camber are you currently running? Two pairs of camber bolts should be able to net you roughly -3 degrees of camber which should be plenty on the set up you have.

Ordered these early December and finally got them now turns out they oversold them at around Christmas time... well worth the wait!

although small they were quite a pain to install since my lip cannot be removed from my bumper i had to squeeze my hands under the splash panels etc to bolt them in securely, it was a long install because i had to make sure both sides were both even but im glad with the results really sets the car apart from the other EP3's with the mugen lip

got these babies from eBay from: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DevSport-...-/120844484624

I'd stick with what Honda recommends, not what guys running Evos use. I certainly wouldn't be using a cocktail.

Re the RSRs, I feel your pain as I run them on my DC2R although not that wide and they are not cheap. You might want to make sure you get your rolling diameter correct. In the UK/Japan they come stock with 205/45/17 tyres ( http://www.mycivictype-r.co.uk/ep3-c...fications.html ). Going to http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html (Java required) or http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalcold.html (no Java needed) I plug in your tyre and come up with this result:

deleted results and used a chart instead:

+4.4% rolling diameter might not seem a lot (it is), but yuck, too much tyre width/height for street/track work. The company that sold you those tyres should be ashamed of themselves, they saw a sucker coming and were happy to take your money. If a mate told you to put them on, he's ignorant and not a good mate. On a plus side, the "stance" dudes will shun you as a pariah/heretic. Your speedo/odometer will certainly be out.

225/40-17 nets a result of -0.7% difference which is as close as I could get it to come out in terms of rolling diameter.

My suggestion? Sell them. Put them on ebay and take a 20-30% loss. Chalk it up to a learning experience. Get a new set that tuck nicely, match the wheels and don't increase the stress on your drivetrain. No need to roll guards and you can then play with the ride height happily. For the pain and heartache of using bolt-ons/rolling of guards to correct a mistake, go back and fix the mistake. Just my opinion mind you, but I'd hate to see your car taken down the wrong path.

                            Hi Guys

its been awhile since i've last updated. Havent really been going much apart from some small things here and there....
got my rice spec on and decided to Spray my brake calipers in a Red on Black color scheme...
i really disliked seeing my grey calipers every time i looked at my wheels i wanted to go for a nice clean finish so i decided to paint the caliper's black with the embossed "Type R" in red....
here are some pics from the process and the end result!

                            enjoy

                              Function7 LCA + Subframe
just adding some bling to my car, installation was very easy i've never done any suspension work to a car on my own so it was a great learning experience took less then two hours to install.
Had to do abit of research on getting all the correct Torque spes which were required as i had to put the whole assembly back together.

If your intending to do any LCA work on a EP3/DC5 your going to need one of these sockets, its a 10 sided socket which is required for the 3 outer bolts on the LCA's. The friend who sold me the Function 7's was kind enough to tell me about it although i felt confident that i had all the right tools, clearly not

                              Enjoy ~~

Did you measure the weight difference by any chance of the rear LCAs?

                                Good work btw!
