New to ClubITR 2001 DC2R

The weather was good so id thought id take it out for a afternoon drive, i also took some more photo's more in depth, will be washing it and getting it ready for this saturday meet , its bone stock accept i have put a Genuine Spoon N1 Axel back because it was laying around in my garage..

Okay about the paint, The whole exterior has been painted, althought the engine bay, door Apaches, boot Apache etc have not been, which is good news ! So the old owner claimed to have painted it a long time ago.. fair enough Honda Red especially from 199* -200* tends not to last very long if kept in the sun id assume that's because of the climate difference between countries.. also the fact the cars are 9+ years old lol

So i would have liked it to be COMPLETELY original, but i think id be asking for a tad to much :\

Positive news though, the products such as the clear coat here "PPG Deltron" (paint that was used) Is alot less likely to fade overtime !! and the car was painted as COB ( Clear over base ) rather then a solid < (requires no clear)

I will be re-spraying the front lip and cutting back+buff the bonnet to try and remove sap and bird shit stains :\ ( cant notice this but i i know its there :P)

Thanks mate, i appreciate it i am probably one of the most pedantic people out there lol im sure that will not be a issue


On another note, i did save some parts from my old car, the only part i have left that i will be transferring onto the dc2 will be my old Mugen Number pate bolts, but will be waiting until i get new plates in the near future
