Curious, do you miss the torque from the GTI?

with the GTI gear ratios being a fair bit longer than the ep3r, i personally found that the ep3r put out more torque to the wheels as well as being lighter.

i dont know about OP's experience but

As for the comparison the GTI has more power down low but the EP3 pulls very hard at higher revs. Handling wise the EP3 wins hands down. The DSG in the Golf is a pain to maintain (in my case).
